Nora is an interior stylist and a painter from Norway. She has always turned to painting as a means to escape everyday life and delve into her inner self. Drawing inspiration from fashion, design, architecture, and the art of others, she transitioned from figurative painting to a more experimental approach, in which she explores the complexities found in people's faces, features, and individuality.

During Covid, Nora cultivated a renewed interest in the use of colors, as a means to bring out the singularity of those depicted in her portraits, and to infuse brightness into the shadows of daily life during this time. She does not want her paintings to be a literal interpretation of her initial inspiration. Instead, she is interested in exploring where the subtleties in light, shadow, and colors can take her.

Nora currently works as an interior stylist at Hay.
