Emma Sophia Green is an artist with a BFA in Craft and Ceramic Art from the Art Academy in Gothenburg who’s work has been exhibited in both solo, duo and group exhibitions. Her artistic practice revolves around clay and ceramics, yet she frequently incorporates a wide range of materials and mediums, including video, photography, performance, and poetry. A central theme in her work is the body, which she explores through various forms—creating wearable ceramic sculptures, crafting pieces inspired by bodily features, and attempting to give sexual pleasure a tangible, physical form.

Emma Sophia Green also aims to engage the viewer's body and senses, playing with perception by making materials appear as something they are not - trompe l’œil - , or by using textures and forms that invite the desire to touch. Through her art, she blurs the lines between the familiar and the unexpected, encouraging a sensory experience that challenges how we interact with the world around us.
